Gold Redemption Issues


Why didn’t my gift card redemption go through? 

    If you experienced an unsuccessful gift card redemption, there are a few potential reasons why it didn’t go through:

    • We are experiencing a high volume of requests from our users. 
    • There is an error on our end and we are working to solve it. 
    • Our gift card distributor is experiencing issues with processing and delivering gift cards. 
    • The merchant is experiencing issues with their gift card inventory. 

    It can take up to 24 hours for gift cards to be processed and delivered. If you didn't receive your gift card within 24 hours, please reach out to yourfriends@joinhoney.com.

    Why didn’t my PayPal redemption go through? 

    If you experienced an unsuccessful PayPal Shopping credit or cash back redemption, there are a few potential reasons why it didn’t go through:

    • We are experiencing a high volume of requests from our users. 
    • There is an error on our end and we are working to solve it.
    • Your Honey account is not linked to a valid personal PayPal account. Click here for more info.
    • You redeemed your points to a PayPal account that does not match the currency or region of your Honey account. 
    • You redeemed your points to a region that does not support the reward. Currently, redeeming Gold points to Shopping credit and cash back is available to US members only.

    I didn’t receive my Gold points refund.

    Refunds are given to those who’ve received an email regarding an issue with their redemption. Keep in mind that it can take up to 24 hours to receive your refund. Check the status of your refund here

    My Gold Rewards redemption failed again.
